Simple service agreement (small jobs)
Business & company · AU
A short written record of a small service engagement — parties, scope, price, payment and timing — for jobs where both sides want the deal on paper.
Who it is for
You are hiring (or providing) a small, ordinary service job and want the agreement recorded in writing before work starts.
When to see a lawyer instead
For high-value work, ongoing engagements, anything that looks like employment rather than contracting, or if the other side has pages of standard terms — have a lawyer review before signing. If this will be YOUR standard form contract offered to many customers, the unfair-contract-terms rules apply and a one-off template is not a substitute for legal review.
